History

Founded in 2002, Dragonfly has established itself as a leading provider of Outdoor Adventure programs in Hong Kong, China and abroad.

Our company has grown in response to a real need for professionally managed and facilitated outdoor education and training programs designed with the clients' needs in mind. Since our first programs, our greatest marketing tool has been 'word of mouth' by offering second-to-none safe, quality outdoor programs that take care of every need. We currently serve over 40 schools and corporations in the Asia-Pacific region.

Based in Hong Kong, clients that have joined us on our outdoor programs here know that one of Hong Kong's greatest assets is that minutes away from the cosmopolitan hustle and bustle of Asia's World City there are peaceful and green trails, beaches, waterfalls and villages in tucked away places. With 40% of the territory designated country parks, Hong Kong's nature is a little-known treasure featuring incredible diversity with new and exciting surprises around every corner.

Our Yangshuo program is set in the heart of one of China's most picturesque areas. Just an hour's drive from Guilin International Airport, the Yangshuo region is nestled amongst rivers, karst mountains, caves, trails, rice fields and greenery - it is truly a place to behold. We have been operating exciting outdoor programs in the region since 2004 and we never cease to marvel at the splendor of this area!

Local knowledge makes all the difference. Whether we are working in China or Hong Kong, Dragonfly selects activity sites for their adventure and educational potential and for their natural scenic beauty. We take great pride in knowing the areas very well, and we strive to incorporate this local knowledge with modern facilitation, environmental sustainability and international safety standards.
