Training
Our staff join us with a diverse range of industry experience, hard and soft skills and internationally recognized certifications.
As a Hong Kong based company, we ensure that we are operating within the guidelines for safety and training based on those set out by the Hong Kong government and Hong Kong NGO’s. (See links to some of our external training providers below). We incorporate the highest international standards of leadership, training and certification into our policies, staff manual and in house training.

Aside from ensuring our staff have the relevant experience and certification to lead our programs, staff also undertake several days of Dragonfly in-house training on an annual basis, thus building upon their existing skills and knowledge.Training includes site familiarization, leadership and group management skills, game leadership, child management, camp and food hygiene, hard skill development, first aid and evacuation scenario training.
We have developed competencies in each of our main leadership and activity areas which staff must effectively demonstrate in order to move from assistant leader to full leader in our programs. We develop the skills and talents of our staff in a way that ultimately improves both the safety and overall quality of our programs.
